Air Force PFRA: What Changed for July 2026

The Air Force began official testing under its revised Physical Fitness Readiness Assessment on July 1, 2026. The assessment is conducted every six months and offers a two-mile run or 20-meter High Aerobic Multi-shuttle Run (HAMR) cardio option.

The published component weights are 50% cardiorespiratory fitness, 20% body composition, 15% muscular strength, and 15% core endurance. The AFPC scoring chart effective March 1, 2026 is the controlling reference for raw event results represented by this calculator.

Use the exact event option and age/sex group in the official chart. Diagnostic results, medical exemptions, commander decisions, and official record entries may follow details not represented in an independent planning tool.
