These pages explain the score structures behind the calculator, the events currently supported, and the public source limits that matter before using an estimate for planning. The calculator is useful only when the user understands the difference between raw performance, component points, total score, class label, and official test administration.
Each branch guide is original explanatory content written around how myptscore.us handles the selected test. The pages avoid copying score tables into long walls of numbers. Instead, they explain what the raw inputs mean, why row lookup matters, how alternate events are separated, and what should be confirmed through official channels before using a result for a record event.
How to choose the right guide
Start with the branch and test that matches the assessment you are planning for. If a branch offers alternate events, use the guide to confirm that the calculator scores the exact event you selected. If you are comparing two options, such as a run versus a row or standard push-ups versus hand-release push-ups, run separate scenarios and compare the reports.
What every report can tell you
A myptscore.us report can show the selected branch, test, age group, sex, raw event entries, component score estimates, total score, and class label. That is enough to support practice planning and identify weak components. It cannot validate a record scorecard, a medical profile, a commander-approved exemption, or a service system entry.
Why the site keeps sources visible
Military fitness standards change. The footer and methodology page show the source-check date so users can judge whether the calculator is current enough for planning. When a source is public, the guide links to it. When a source is restricted or context-dependent, the guide says so instead of filling the gap with unsupported data.
