USAF and USSF PT standards

Updated July 26, 2026Uses official public standards where available

myptscore.us focuses first on calculating raw physical fitness results against the correct branch, sex, age group, and event option. The Air Force and Space Force paths are especially important because the tests look similar in some areas but do not use the same total score structure. The Air Force PFRA includes cardiorespiratory fitness, body composition, strength, and core components. The Space Force HPA is a 100-point assessment with 60 cardiorespiratory points, 20 muscular strength points, and 20 muscular endurance points.

This page is an overview, not a replacement for the service publication or an official scorecard. Use it to understand what the calculator is doing, then verify record-test decisions through your unit, test administrator, or current official instruction.

Male and female standards

The calculator separates male and female scoring because raw performance rows differ by sex and age group for several events. A result that is excellent for one scoring table can land in a different row in another table. That is why the form requires sex and age before it calculates points. If either field is missing, the page keeps the result incomplete instead of guessing.

For planning, use the sex and age group that will apply on the test date. If you are close to a birthday boundary, run both age groups and then verify which row will be used by the test administrator.

USAF standards

The Air Force PFRA calculator supports the public 2026 score chart structure in the app: aerobic options, body composition from waist-to-height ratio, push-up or hand-release push-up strength options, and core options such as sit-ups, cross-leg reverse crunches, and plank. The report shows total points and the class label so a user can tell whether the result is only passing or closer to an excellent score.

USSF standards

The Space Force HPA calculator keeps the HPA separate from the Air Force PFRA. Body composition is not counted inside the HPA point total, and the HPA total is capped at 100 points. Cardio can contribute up to 60 points, muscular strength up to 20 points, and muscular endurance up to 20 points. This distinction matters for the common mistake of treating a Space Force result as an Air Force result with one component removed.

Officer and enlisted standards

For the Air Force and Space Force fitness tests covered here, the score tables are not split into officer-only and enlisted-only point systems inside the calculator. Officers and enlisted members should still verify unit rules, medical profiles, commander-directed assessments, and service-specific administrative requirements. The calculator estimates fitness score outcomes; it does not decide personnel actions.
