Army AFT scoring guide
The Army Fitness Test calculator on myptscore.us uses official public scoring rows rather than a simple min/max estimate. That matters because many raw results do not rise in perfectly even increments. The calculator looks up the raw result against the row for the selected event, sex, age group, and selected general or combat standard.
Events covered
| Component | Calculator input | Scoring behavior |
|---|---|---|
| 3RM deadlift | Weight in pounds | Higher weight earns more points, up to 100. |
| Hand-release push-up | Raw repetitions | Higher repetitions earn more points, up to 100. |
| Sprint-drag-carry | Time | Faster time earns more points. |
| Plank | Time held | Longer time earns more points. |
| 2-mile run | Time | Faster time earns more points. |
Passing logic
The general AFT path uses a 500-point maximum and requires the branch-defined component minimums and total passing score. The combat option uses the same event structure but applies the combat standard where the Army standard is branch or duty-position dependent. Exemptions in the calculator are planning aids and should be checked against the official administrative rule that applies to the actual test record.
How to use the calculator
Select Army, choose either AFT general or AFT combat, then enter raw performance: pounds, repetitions, and times. The page updates component points while you type, and the final report shows the total, class, and each event row used to calculate the score.
